U-Tek CNC Solutions was founded in 2010 as a CNC programming company. Two years later, we purchased our first machines and entered contract manufacturing — and we've been growing ever since.
Founders Jonathan Koehn and Monte Unruh have worked together since the mid-1990s across multiple Iowa-area machine shops. Between them, they bring experience spanning every phase of precision manufacturing: design, programming, turning, milling, welding, and assembly.
Today we operate from a single consolidated location in Red Oak, Iowa, running 13 machines including late-model Doosan and Hyundai WIA turning centers, VMCs, barloaders, and a Halter robot for automated production.
